SmilinGut is a probiotic complex by SynBalance, specifically designed to support gastrointestinal health.
SmilinGut has been clinically tested in a randomized double blind placebo controlled clinical trial. 100 IBS-C subjects were randomly divided in two group 50 supplemented with a daily dose of 6B/ day for 60 days + 30 days of follow-up and 50 supplemented with placebo. Stool samples have been collected in order to determine the gastrointestinal colonization during the administration period and also in the follow-up; subjects also fulfilled a questionnaire to determine IBS-C symptoms improvement.
Beneficial positive effect demonstrated after only 10 days the efficacy of HappyBelly 6B CFU/day composed by L. plantarum PBS067, L. rhamnosus LRH020 and B. lactis BL050. Result showed the colonization and persistance in the gastrointestinal tract during the trial cand even after 30 days from last intake; reduction of IBS-C symptoms quickly and steadily.
