AllergAway

Overview

AllergAway is a probiotic complex by SynBalance, specifically designed to support our body natural defenses during seasonal allergies.
AllergAway has been clinically tested in a randomized double blind placebo-controlled trial carried-out on 60 subjects suffering from allergic rhinitis, randomly assigned to take the probiotic product (L. acidophilus PBS066, L. rhamnosus LRH020, B. breve BB077, and B. longum BLG240, 4B CFU/day) or the placebo for 8 weeks, with a subsequent follow-up period of 4 weeks. Clinical and instrumental assessments evaluated the improvement of allergic rhinitis symptoms as well as patients’ quality of life through Mini Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (MiniRQLQ). Blood and stool samples were collected in order to investigate the modulation of serological markers and the evolution of the gut microbiota biodiversity during treatment and follow-up in both groups, respectively. AllergAway demonstrated its efficacy in vitro have been selected as the best performers in the management of allergic immune response. They were clinically tested for their immunomodulatory activities, showing the improvement of subjects’ quality of life during allergy season as well as mitigation of respiratory allergies symptoms.
